Facility
In 2004, IBC moved
from the University of Arizona Science and Technology Park into
a facility custom built located approximately 20 miles northwest of
Tucson in Oro Valley. The 18,000 square-foot facility features
state-of-the-art laboratories and a cleanroom fitted with the
latest technology in computer-controlled environmental, fire
suppression and security systems.
The building was
designed with the staff in mind. The office area features a
28-foot elliptical ceiling with floor to ceiling glass facing the
spectacular Catalina Mountains. The laboratories have windows so everyone can enjoy the
spectacular views. Out front stands
a sculpture made of stainless steel depicting a UV profile
pictured left.
