Proteomics
Proteomics is the study of the
structure and function of proteins. IBC's Proteomics Group was
formed to pursue this.
Of particular interest is the use of
proteomics in the development of diagnostics. Up until now,
diagnostic tools have been limited in their ability to pinpoint
symptoms at the earliest disease stages, when the most effective
treatment options can be pursued. Today, we perform proteomics
studies (identifying and analyzing proteins in biological fluid)
in an effort to identify and diagnose diseases in their earliest
stages so the proper therapies can be administered ASAP. We have
the experience and instrumentation to make discoveries that will
change lives.
